Before You Join
When joining a playgroup in WA, there are now two separate fees:

One for the playgroup itself
-
One for Playgroup WA (PGWA). This is paid directly to PGWA.
Our (Shenton Park) Fee
Our fee covers the cost of tea/coffee, craft materials, toys, cleaning and more. Find out more about our fee.​

Playgroup WA Fee
A separate, membership is required after your third visit and is paid directly to PGWA. Their 2025 annual fee is $35 (or $15 with a Concession Card) and includes insurance and other benefits. More information here.
All information is strictly confidential and will not be passed on to third-parties other than Playgroup WA for insurance and contact purposes only. As such, the information provided by you will only be used or referred to when there is a need to inform you about a playgroup issue.

Shenton Park Community Centre is undergoing a renovation in 2026 (start date yet to be determined). Until we are sure about the plans from the council and options for Playgroup to continue running in 2026, we have put a hold on memberships which will go into the new year.
