Shenton Park PG and Playgroup WA Membership Validity Periods​​

The Shenton Park Playgroup membership validity runs from time of purchase up to the expiration of your chosen plan. For example, 12 month plan purchased in October of one year will expire in October the following year.

When purchasing a membership with Shenton Park Playgroup, we also require all members to separately join Playgroup WA, as they provide insurance (and also hold special events throughout the year).

Unlike Shenton Park Playgroup, Playgroup WA membership is annual and expires at the end of each calendar year. Therefore, a member who joins Shenton Park Playgroup mid-year, is required to renew their Playgroup WA membership in January the following year to maintain insurance coverage.

Please note that once paid, membership fees are non-refundable.

All Shenton Park Playgroup Members must be a member of Playgroup WA. After joining Shenton Park Playgroup, we will send you a link to register with Playgroup WA. Playgroup WA membership provides full insurance coverage while at the centre, access to help and support from the members hotline and invitations to Playgroup WA events and play days. Notes About the Different Fees

Shenton Park Playgroup Playgroup Fee: Covers the cost of running the centre.

Playgroup WA (PGWA) Membership Fee: PGWA membership is a requirement for joining our playgroup. It provides your insurance cover while you are attending the centre. PGWA will contact members directly to collect this payment.

 

Concession Discount

Both the playgroup membership fees and Playgroup WA (PGWA) fees are discounted by 50% for concession card holders. To receive a concession discount, please contact us and we will provide a discount code when joining.

 

Committee Discount

As a gesture of thanks, playgroup fees are waived for committee members in recognition of the time they give to serve on the committee.
