Shenton Park Playgroup has the facilities to help your child develop language, social skills, physical coordination, emotional maturity, and exploration skills. We have both inside and outside play areas for the children and parents/carers to enjoy.
Indoor Resources
Inside we have an extremely well resourced play area that includes the following:
Toys and role play
The much-loved train table
Construction toys
Puzzles
Books
Costumes
Dolls, prams
Dolls house
Kitchen toys
Baby mats and toys
Art and craft supplies
Kitchen, including tea and coffee supplies
Toilet, including toilet training facilities
Aircon and fans
Outdoor Resources
Outside we have an abundance of space for the children to play, play, play! This includes the following:
Cubby house
Large sandpit
Climbing frame with slides
Swings
Outside toys including, bikes, diggers, balance beams, sports equipment
Water play tables and tubs
Outdoor craft and painting facilities
Blackboards
Members are invited and encouraged to recommend toy purchases for the playgroup. If there is something that you would like purchased, please let us know.
Unfortunately toys cannot be borrowed and taken home from the centre as it is too hard to keep track of who has what. For your own benefit, we also ask that you do not bring toys from home as they can be forgotten and then hard to find again.
